This is a great sauce.But not worth the price here in the states.I use to live in Costa-Rica.I use to put this sauce on rice and beans and meat.I belive the A-1 lines of sauces are better priced than this stuff.My wife is a Tica and she agrees with me.Why pay $10usd for something that should cost $2usd.This sauce would have a **** star rateing.but because of the price i give it **.I understand that i should call this salsa since i speak spanish.Sorry but i live here in the USA.We refer to this as ... Just came back from Costa Rica and have to say that this stuff usually makes rice and beans and/or eggs, etc. outstandingly better. Brought back several containers of it as souvenirs for friends, better than a postcard (anyone who's experienced the Costa Rican postal service knows that anything you mail from there probably won't make it to the states anyhow).

This is an unbelievable sauce. It is called a salsa simply because that is the word for sauce in Spanish (I hope I don't offend those of you that are familiar with latin food by saying that). It is not a salsa like we think of in the States, no chunks of tomato or anything. Simply a smooth sauce that can be used on anything to make it more twangy and awesome.
